▼ Will there be a lot of dust?
There will be some dust, but we cover the rooms not being serviced, kitchen cabinets, and electronics with plastic. Also, we vacuum after each sanding and slap all the walls with a rag before doing the finish, so no dust gets in the finish.

▼ What do we do with the furniture?
We recommend you rent a U-Haul truck and park it in front of the home. Much cheaper than renting a pod. For a charge of $400 to $600, depending on the amount, we will move it and return it if you like.

▼ How long does it take for the finish to dry?
Usually, if there's no humidity, you can walk on an oil-based finish 24 hours after the last application. For an additional $0.25 per sq. ft., we can use water-based urethane instead. You can walk on it 2 hours after the last application.

▼ Is there a warranty?
There is no warranty in the floor refinishing industry. It will not need to be redone for 25 years if you are careful. We do not take a deposit, and you pay me when you are completely happy with the work.

▼ How do I know what the color will look like?
You can choose up to 4 colors, and we will sand a portion of the floor and show the stains on the hardwood before we start the project.

My MHIC number is 118080. I have a one-million-dollar insurance policy and a BBB A+ rating.

▼ Is there a smell?
Oil-based finishes have a strong odor, but it dissipates in 24 hours. Water-based finishes have no smell.
